Adam stayed home sick with a cough the other day. When I brought him in late the next day the whole class erupted with cheers and welcomes to Adam. Two little girls immediately wanted him to sit by her. I said to Adam "Look everyone missed you." Adam threw back his head and said in his way "Of couth!" I guess it pays to take a sick day now and then to see what a super star you become.

I totally believe that. I'm sure he brightened up that classroom just being there! I hope he felt important after that.
